Enhancing the Ease of Living Through Pension Awareness Initiatives

Introduction

Pensioners play a crucial role in safeguarding their families from financial losses. This initiative, spearheaded by the Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare under the chairmanship of Shri V. Srivastava, aims to address common concerns and enhance the ease of living for pensioners and their families. The initiative focuses on enhancing “Ease of Living” by ensuring that pensioners are informed about the rules governing their pension policies. This includes digital platforms, such as portals from SBI, Bank of Baroda, and others, providing seamless banking services. Additionally, workshops will be conducted to educate pensioners and staff on the procedures involved in pension disbursing.

  • Workshops: 150 pensioners and 70 officers from Rajma Bank’s CPPC and relevant pension departments.
  • Target Areas: Focuses on areas with high pension populations, including Jaipur and neighboring regions.
