Pilgrims Are On Their Way… And We’re Helping Them along the Journey!

In an exciting new chapter for the hearts of Haj 2025, Shri George Kurian, the Minister of State for Minority Affairs…, has officially inaugurated the orientation-cum-training program for selected deputationists. This initiative, spanning two days from 22nd to 23rd April 2025, is set at SCOPE Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The event marks a significant step towards enhancing the capacity of Haj deputationists in their vital role as enablers of successful Haj operations.

The Program’s Purpose: A Call to Action

This orientation-cum-training program, which will focus on six months post-2024, is designed to equip selected deputationists with essential skills and knowledge. The key objectives include improving the management of the Indian Haj pilgrimage, a logistical challenge that has become increasingly complex as pilgrims move across vast distances.

Over 620 deputationists have already been selected for this year’s program, bringing the total across all years to nearly a thousand. This number underscores the program’s success in growing in scale and impact over time. The training will cover various critical areas, including Haj operations overview, the role of deputationists, health and disaster management, especially through the successful introduction of the Haj Suvidha App during Haj-2024.

The Success of an App, a Pattern of Excellence

One of the most notable aspects of this initiative is its success in recent years. The Government’s work on the Haj Suvidha App has been groundbreaking. This app played a pivotal role in disseminating information and resolving issues for Indian Haj pilgrims during Haj-2024. By continuing this model, the Government aims to further realize its potential through effective training of deputationists.

The Impact on Both Deputationists and Pilgrims

This program is not just about preparing deputationists but also about bridging the gap between them and their destinations. It’s a collaborative effort that enhances both their professional growth and their mission-driven responsibilities. The success of this initiative will undoubtedly contribute to bringing successful Haj operations closer to the hearts of pilgrims, ensuring they make meaningful contributions to their journey.

A Commitment to Pilgrims

As the Government continues its efforts to facilitate the successful Haj pilgrimage, this orientation-cum-training program is a testament to its dedication. It highlights the Government’s commitment to the welfare of its pilgrims and the importance of ensuring that their goals are achieved through robust support systems.

In conclusion, the establishment of this orientation-cum-training program marks an important milestone in the journey of Haj deputationists under Shri George Kurian’s leadership. It not only enhances their ability to perform successfully but also strengthens the Government’s mission to guide pilgrims toward their destinations, underscoring the spirit of collaboration and mutual support that is vital for their success.

And Together, We Build a Path Forward!

The program serves as a powerful reminder of how far we can push the boundaries of successful Haj operations. With this orientation-cum-training initiative in place, we are poised to make significant strides toward ensuring the smooth completion of these crucial journeys. The Government is committed to maintaining this momentum, and their efforts will undoubtedly shape the future of Haj 2025. Together, we stand ready to face the challenges ahead with confidence and strength.
